Koala Service is operated by εŒ—δΊ¬θ€ƒζ‹‰η†Šη§‘ζŠ€ζœ‰ι™ε…¬εΈ, Beijing, China. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and who we share it with.

1. What we collect

When you contact us or order a service, we may collect:

  • your name, company name, email address and phone number;
  • details of your sourcing request (products, specifications, quantities, target prices);
  • order and payment records needed to fulfil and invoice your order;
  • correspondence between you and our team.

We do not collect sensitive personal information, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.

2. Why we collect it

  • to assess your sourcing request and respond to enquiries;
  • to deliver reports, inspections and other ordered services;
  • to invoice you and keep business records;
  • to improve our services.

3. AI and service providers

We use AI tools as part of supplier screening and price comparison ("AI does the searching, humans do the verifying"). Business information you provide may be processed by our AI service providers for the purpose of delivering your report. We do not use your personal information to train public AI models.

4. Who we share information with

To deliver our services we may share relevant business information (such as your product requirements β€” not your private contact details, unless needed for logistics coordination) with:

  • potential suppliers in China, so they can quote on your request;
  • freight forwarders, licensed customs brokers and inspection partners, where you have asked us to coordinate them.

We do not disclose your information to anyone else except where required by law.

5. Cross-border disclosure

Our team is based in China. Information you provide may be transferred to and processed in China for the purposes described above. By submitting an enquiry or placing an order, you consent to this cross-border handling of your information.

6. Retention and security

We keep business records for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal record-keeping obligations. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

7. Access and correction

You may ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing info@koalaservice.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version in force at the time you provide information applies to that information; material changes will be noted with a new version number and date above.
